Camella celebrates 41st year with new campaign

For more than four decades, Camella, the country’s largest homebuilder and Vista Land’s flagship brand, has given Filipinos throughout the country with an affordable roof above their heads through quality, master-planned communities in various strategic locations.

As it turned 41 this year, the homebuilder culminated its month-long, nationwide anniversary celebration dubbed National Camella Day (NCD) at Vista Mall Daanghari in Cavite by putting the spotlight on its most recent and most affordable house offering, the Lessandra house series.

The festivities began with a motorcade along Daanghari Road, which was followed by the opening of the Camella Food Festival. Esang, the Lessandra series’ official mascot, entertained the guests and attendees with a lively and energetic dance performance.

Adding color and vibrance to the festivities is Color Manila’s Blacklight Run, NCD’s biggest dance battle showcasing local dance groups from Cavite, a gift-giving event, and other activities and entertainment.

Boosting the brand’s campaign on Lessandra, the complete three-part web series or digiserye highlighting the brand’s most affordable brand was shown. The short films titled Dream Girls, Seven and Ghoster premiered during the grand celebration of National Camella Day in Bataan, Davao and Iloilo.

Apart from underlining the legacy and milestones that Camella has reached in over 40 years, NCD 2018 celebrates with all Camella stakeholders the success, love and pride for the brand. “Taga-Camella Ako,” the strong, succinct and catchy tagline for this year’s anniversary, best expressed this message altogether.

Aside from the festivities shared with the various stakeholders of the Camella community, NCD-Cavite likewise expanded its activities to benefit and give back to the community. In a gift-giving activity, more than 100 children from Victoria Homes Learning Center received loot bags and groceries from All Day Supermarket, boxes of pastries from Bake My Day, ice cream sponsored by Baskin Robbins, kids’ toys and the exclusive and customized Esang Adventure Coloring Book.

Likewise, lucky winners from the raffle draw received gift certificates from All Home, vouchers from Coffee Project, and grocery packages worth P5,000. Various activities were also lined up to entertain the children, such as magic acts, puppet show and balloon twisting.

NCD’s biggest dance battle highlighted the afternoon, an event which saw 15 local dance groups compete in a showcase of agility and talent. The five-member band sensation BoybandPH also staged an all-out concert performance that drew crowds. Likewise, Pilipinas Got Talent semifinalist Dauntless Republic wowed Caviteños with their electrifying dance performance. The audience watched in awe as It’s Showtime’s Twin It To Win It grand champion Laride Twins showcased their flair for ballet.

The night sky lit up as thousands of runners, sports enthusiasts and Camella stakeholders gathered to participate in Color Manila’s heart-pumping and color-frenzy 3K, 5K and 10K Blacklight Run.

First launched at Vista Mall Taguig in 2017, this year’s NCD is a month-long celebration highlighted by four weekly events across the country.

Camella continues to fulfill its mandate of housing the nation through affordable housing and expansion to more locations. The company is present in 47 provinces and in 141 cities and municipalities, with almost 400,000 houses built to date.
